For 25 years, RJDM has helped brands educate, engage and inspire through animation, technology and digital experiences.
To celebrate this milestone, we decided to create something purely for fun. Manu & Mimi Sky Adventures is a family-friendly flying game inspired by our studio mascots and our passion for storytelling, design and interactive experiences.
More than just a game, it showcases the blend of creativity, technology and problem-solving that has defined RJDM since day one. Built from concept through to deployment, the project allowed our team to experiment, learn and demonstrate how modern tools can accelerate development while still delivering engaging experiences.

Where it made a difference
The project became a creative playground for our team, allowing us to explore new technologies, workflows and development approaches while strengthening skills across multiple disciplines.
It demonstrated how animation, storytelling, software development and AI-assisted production can combine to create engaging digital products quickly and efficiently.
Most importantly, it reminded us why we started RJDM 25 years ago - to create experiences that make people smile, spark imagination and bring great ideas to life through creativity and technology.
What we helped solve
As AI and technology continue to transform creative industries, we wanted to challenge ourselves to build something outside of a traditional client project.
The goal was to explore how animation, game design, user experience, cloud technologies and modern development tools could work together to create a polished product that was fun, accessible and scalable.
We also wanted to demonstrate that great digital experiences are no longer limited to large studios with huge budgets. Creativity, innovation and the right technology can bring ambitious ideas to life faster than ever before.
What we delivered
We designed and developed Manu & Mimi Sky Adventures, a cross-platform endless flying adventure featuring original characters, collectible aircraft, progression systems and competitive gameplay.
The project included game design, character development, pixel-art environments, UI/UX design, cloud infrastructure, leaderboards, multiplayer features, monetisation systems, mobile optimisation and App Store deployment.
From concept sketches to live gameplay, every aspect of the project was created and refined by the RJDM team as part of our 25-year celebration.
