As part of the Info4CareKids platform for SCIE, we created six animated films based on real experiences of looked-after children and young people, helping explain complex situations through relatable storytelling.
Where it made a difference
By involving young people directly in the creative process, the animations reflected genuine experiences and concerns. The films helped make important information more approachable, giving visitors to the platform content they could relate to, understand and learn from.
What we helped solve
SCIE wanted to provide looked-after children and young people with accessible information and support through engaging digital content. The challenge was to communicate sensitive and often complex topics in a way that felt authentic, relatable and easy to understand.
What we delivered
Alongside the design and development of the Info4CareKids website, we facilitated workshops with care-experienced young people and worked with them to develop scripts based on real-life experiences. These insights formed the basis of six animated films, each approximately 45 seconds long, depicting common scenarios faced by young people in care.
